Gary Penna is the Founder of Bourbon Club of Arkansas (BCA). This 280 member club has been the recipient of numerous awards to include platinum awards and double platinum awards for club picks. With their last pick finishing in the final four for the Ascot Awards club pick of the year. BCA also won the Ascot Awards for whiskey club of the year for 2024.

Gary has been involved in over 60 club picks since beginning his journey into whiskey back in 2014, 35 of those picks being for his club in Arkansas since its inception in 2019. He has also served as Fred Minnick’s moderator for his live Top 100 yearly livestreams; As well he runs the Instagram page Uncut_N_Unfiltered where he reviews and reports on whiskies and the whiskey world throughout the year. Gary and his admins from his club hosts numerous tasting nights throughout the year. He and his team help educate new whiskey enthusiasts in the subtle art of the tasting nuances of whiskey through paired meal events.
