In selecting a judge to anchor the vodka tasting, who could be better than an Eastern European influenced foody whose bar spells vodka the old fashion way with a “w”.  Sarah Dworak opened the Wodka Bar in Cincinnati in 2019, and a year later it was already recognized as one of the twenty-seven Best Bars in America by Esquire Magazine. Sarah’s foray into hospitality began out of her own kitchen where she recreated her Ukrainian grandmother’s recipes. Sarah soon grew from pop-up events to a permanent store at Cincinnati’s historic Findlay Market. In addition to her store, Babushka Pierogies, Sarah promotes Eastern European food and drink culture through the Wodka Bar where she matches her Zakuska small plates with an exotic cocktail program and an extensive list of vodkas from throughout the world.
